Mohan’s Medicity Hospital was founded by Prof. Dr. B.K.C. Mohan Prasad, MBBS., MS.,(Gen.Surg), M.Ch (Oncology)., He is currently the Chairman of Mohan’s Medicity Hospital. He was also the President of Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO) for 2017 and Chairman of the Association of Surgeons of India (Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry Chapter) for 2012-13 and President of Indian Medical Association Madurai for 2019. He was also the Professor and HOD of Surgical Oncology for Madurai Medical College, Madurai – Sri Ramachandra Medical University, Porur, Chennai – Emeritus Professor of Surgical Oncology of the Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medicity University. He is the 1st Qualified M.Ch., Surgical Oncologist in India. He has written several publications and performed more than 1 lakh cancer surgical operations. He has done 14 Breast Cancer Surgeries within 3 Hours which is a World Record. He is very much specialized in Breast Cancer, Head and Neck and Gynaec Cancer operations.
