He was graduated with an MBBS degree from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. He completed his post graduation from one of the oldest and prestigious institutions in Tamilnadu, Madurai Medical College and Govt. Rajaji Hospital and also he has completed his M.Ch., (Surgical Oncology) from the Govt. Royapettiah Hospital, Chennai which is the centre of excellence for Oncology. He has presented various papers to his credit in ASI TN & Pondicherry Chapter of ASI National conferences. He is trained in modern surgical techniques like Laparoscopy various scopes and has also imbibed the art of surgery from various senior professors
